We have this over sized closet under our stairs that has been used for everything you can think of. It has been a clothes storage room, Shoe closet, office, computer room, scrapbook room, junk room, etc. I came home the other day and Beth has turned it into my own personal prayer closet. It has rocking chair, bookshelves, speakers for my Ipod, and a fresh coat of paint. I have had the sweetest time in there the past few days. I can go in shut my door, read, pray, study, etc. Its been awesome.
Matthew 6:5-6
5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

I wish I had an "extra" room to be alone with the Lord! I use my car since I'm always bringing someone somewhere! My kids are getting older now so when I do need some quiet prayer time I just ask to be left alone and they listen. That's pretty cool!
