Beautiful Morning

I had a beautiful morning with the Lord today. For a few months I have been trying to read the bible before I do anything in the morning. Today was neat. I spent about 45 un-interrupted minutes with God. It was the 1st thing on my agenda to do and I started at about 6:20am. I normally struggle with a system and how to fill my prayer time. Today this is what I did.

1. Read the 1 year bible.
2. Prayed using the outline in the Lords Prayer.
3. Stood and read scripture aloud and prayed through the things that struck me.
4. I did it all outside so I could speak out loud, walk around, and look to the sky at times.

Now I am reading "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer and drinking my coffee. What a beautiful morning.
